Skywatch Ledger publishes information about unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), reported sightings and related topics for general interest and educational purposes. We aim to be accurate and to cite our sources, but reports of sightings are often unverified, and official findings can change. Nothing on the site is professional, legal or safety advice. Use your own judgment and check original sources.

The UFO checker

The "Is it a UFO?" checker gives a best guess based only on the answers you choose. It can't see what you saw and may be wrong. Don't rely on it for anything involving safety; if an object is a hazard or has landed, contact local authorities.

Content and copyright

The site's original text, design and tools are the property of Skywatch Ledger. You're welcome to quote short passages with a link back to the original page. Government videos and images shown in the Evidence Room are in the public domain and are credited to their original sources; other third-party material belongs to its respective owners.

Third-party links and services

The site links to and loads content from other websites and services, including Wikimedia Commons, government sites and news outlets. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, availability or practices.

Advertising and affiliate links

The site may display ads and contain affiliate links. These don't affect how we report on sightings or cases.
